You were always there whenever I was down
You were always there to wipe away my frown
You were the one that I will never let go
I wish you could be here with me now
I wish you didn't have to go
I wish you were here to help me out
But I know you are in a good place
and you are watching me from pet heaven
and although you are buried outside
you will always be buried in my heart
and I love you

i begged for a moment that time would stand still
and we could just be
in a million years i couldnt get my fill
of the love that you gave to me
so i chose to love you freely and knew that the day would come
that we would be parted
i am so broken hearted
and the pain is coming from
the void in my day
the empty  food bowl
the spot where you used to lay
missing your gentle soul
so now you are in a better place
the food is never ending
im sure that GOD has a space
for you "EDIE GIRL"  to him we are sending.
